Lake Arbor Sesh-A-Rama

On May 16, while the serious-minded racers were duking it out at Infinion Raceway, a gob of us played at the Lake Arbor jumps. The new double-double-double-berm-double-berm-rollers-berm-hip set kept everyone occupied and stepping up their game. Add Dave Ignatew's shade tent and some tunes, and you have yourself a session.

And now, in alphabetical order ...

Fast Bobbi Watt was working the smaller set.

Perfect landing! Eyes forward, nice backside ...

Too much: Flying pony tail, supernice person, reps her weight on the bench press.

Bob Te Selle kept hammering the new set, and after a few hits he was definitely getting it. Bob gets extra points for muscular definition.

Cole Bangert is another good person who's good at bike riding. He was whipping the sets like a pastry chef whips cream.

Dave Ygnatew was definitely the king of the prom. Speed? Grace? Yeah, he had those.

Too rad! Landing a double, setting up for the berm.

Hip by Dave. Tricep by Bob.

Anyone looking for fitness models?

Fast Jon Watt himself.

Loading FJW into a berm like this is like pouring black powder and buckshot into a vintage shotgun: Click, BOOM!!!

Yeah, just about everyone can land a double, stick a berm, pump two rollers then double the next two ready to land in the next berm. Big deal.

Ground control to Major Jon. ... "This is Major Jon. I'm floating in the most peculiar way."

Yes, this is me on a relatively big set of jumps. I was so stoked, it was a full-on "Dear Diary ..." day. (Photos by the Watt Family Circus.)

The second berm after the little double.

Check out that compression! Check out that power!

Lookin' for that backside pump action. Wait, that sounds kinda bad ...

I came up SO SHORT on this double.

Luke Strom, pro DH Aussie-type guy, was doing some goofing off of his own.

Luke actually judges speed and distance using sonar.

Marc Ciufolo = fast, smooth and agreeable.

Young Mr. Partridge is right on target, 20" style.

Pepe "Michael" Ontiveros is smoother than you, and I'll bet he's faster too.
