A little bit DH and a whole lot freeride

Elliot Hoover is a heck of a rider and the mastermind behind one of our Wyoming session spots. "I like to combine bits from racer style and freeride style," he says. That fact proves itself in the terrain he builds and the way he rides it.

Super Duper Drop to Fading Step-Up

Sir Elliot with the quartering front angle.

A little Photoshop and those power lines are GONE.

Earning some potential energy.

This looks like a nice drop, but he's already flown 20 feet.

50 Feet of Air

Full on motocross ... err ... freeride.

Berm to Drop to Berm

Me, Lee, about to drop in. I'm a bit nervous, and so I'm too high on the bike.

It's all good now. The rad thing about that Enduro is I rode it from home roadie style, lowered the seat then freehucked like a maniac.

Lisa about to nail it on Steve's Turner.
Fun Muddy Berm

You can't see it, but this berm leads across a flat to a big wall ride. Elliot and Wentz carried enough speed to arc 10+ feet above the deck. A little bit downhill, a little bit freeride ...

Me with that special broken-clavicle shoulder geometry.

No jean can contain my POWER!.

Moto-X Wentz.

Sleepy-Eyes Wentz.

Elliot carves across that Wyoming backdrop.

Lisa looking pro. Check out the carnage down in the tire region.
