Whew! I got home late last night, then I taught a Core Skills clinic today, and now I’m packing to leave again. The Wife and I are spending the week in Martha’s Vineyard — no cell phone, no laptop style. The striped bass are hitting off the beach, and Lee Likes Surfcasting dot com! To […]
This week has been just as pinned as promised, and roughly twice as cool. I’m sitting at a truck stop on the Grapevine, about to go to bed, but I must report:
I’m loading up for a week of adventure in California. We’re talking BMX research, mountain bike clinics and some quality riding. Classes are almost full, so don’t delay!
Last week I taught 16 riders of all levels, both genders and every style. The private and public clinics have been super fun, and everyone has been stoked.
Last Saturday’s outdoor festival in Lyons, CO included kayak events, a bike rodeo, trials shows and a sweet dirt jump comp.

This guy lives on the East Coast and wants to motor through those perpetual up-and-down rock gardens. His needs are different from Big Mountain folks.
In a stunning shift of priorities, I skipped the Angel Fire MSC this year and instead ran the Bolder Boulder 10k. So today, rather than pinning it through aspen forests by myself, I jogged through city streets with 50,000 goofballs. I am proud to say I finished right in the middle.
