Last weekend I was invited to a delicious training spot. It’s 160 acres owned by a family whose son rides, and it’s shaping up to become Whistler South. Read to the bottom, because they’re offering camps.
This one has tight turns, lots of rollers and a major uphill. Mortals need not bother.
This is my third summer in Colorado, and last weekend I rode Winter Park for the first time. It won’t be my last.
Mt. Snow, Vermont (June 17 and 18) – It was a “weekend of crazy ups and downs,” said Yeti-FOX Racing Factory Race Team manager Damon Smith. In two days the team experienced everything from mental error to mechanical failure to resounding victory.

Lee, I have a question. What width handle bars do you prefer. I am riding a hard tail with 24″ wheels. I just put a set of FSA DH400 bars on and they are crazy wide 28″ from the factory. What would you recommend for dirt jumping and urban riding? Thanks Rich (from Virginia)

After last Sunday’s race, I was beat down like a clown, but a dirt bike waited in my van, and trails beckoned.
Sugar Mountain, N.C. (June 10 and 11) – Absent bikes and crazy weather cranked up the drama, but the Yeti-FOX Racing Factory Team worked together and got the job done.
June 9-11, Nathrop, Colo. – We beheld the courses Keith Darner built, and we saw that they were good.
