Just finished a two-hour road ride with my neighbor Larry. I am a mountain biker for a reason, but freeroading is rad.
Oh man. I have seen the other side. And it isn’t pretty.
Aloha Lee, I have a 2007 Gary Fisher Fat Possum XT. I love this bike except that the swingarm flexes a lot when climbing. This seems to be a problem with heavier riders like me (I weigh 205). I can’t afford to buy a new bike and I’m pretty much stuck at my current weight-I […]
I am about to get back into racing after a 23 year break and have the opportunity to buy a Redline Bubba Harris signature series 24″ cruiser (2007) but cannot seem to find any frame dimensions, specifically the top tube length. Can you please help. Kai
Just a quick question for you. I’m looking for a new bike and have the opportunity to get either a 2010 Demo 8 II or 2010 951 w/ SRAM build kit for nearly the same price. I’m kind of inclined to go with the Demo simply because it has a much better build for the […]

Hi Lee, If you would care to expound on the differences between the 08, 09, and 2010 Demo 8 I would be grateful. I am aware that the 2010 model has been dialed for world cup racing and that distinguishes it from its predecessors. I am looking at an ’08, but am not sure what […]
Reporting from slightly snowy Lyons: PJ the promoter says the dirt looks pretty good, but the wooden ramps are wet. He’s moving the Dirt Scream to next Sunday, Nov. 1. I’ll post more details this week.
Details are hard to come by (uninformative site and unreachable promoter), but Glenn at Bitterbrush Cycles just gave me some approximate times.
Hey gang. I’ve been riding a cyclocross bike with drop bars for about a year, and it’s been fun. I’m about to do a real build (good parts and “ideal” setup) on the Mighty S-Works Tricross, and I keep vacillating between drop bars and risers.
