Figure 8’s on dirt: Weighting the front end?

Lee
OK, I have a silly question for you. I’ve been practicing my figure 8’s on our gravel road and I’ve noticed that my front wheel washes out before my rear wheel even though I seem to be weighting it pretty heavy. Even though it feels scary, should even be putting more weight on the front wheel? Because doing this would really take me out of the “attack position.”

My boss is cooler than your boss

One of my main clients, CMBS.com/Backshop, is headed by a guy named Jim Flaherty. Jim rips an S-Works Stumpy in the hills near his Marin office, and he is quite the character.

Last week Jim had VIP access to the inauguration. Last night he was partying backstage with Metallica. I’m not sure which is cooler.

Here’s Jim’s blog, which I run for him: cmbs2point0.com
