Hi all. Just returned from two weeks away; one in California teaching, one in Martha’s Vineyard sleeping and fishing. The sleeping was much more successful than the fishing. Highlights from the clinics, and the word of the week:

“Aggro” skills clinic this Saturday

What: A skills clinic focused on pumping, manualing, hopping, dropping, aggressive cornering and, if the group is ready, jumping. This is like a Core Skills clinic, just tweaked toward “aggro” riding styles. We’ll start with riding position and work our way up the skills tree. Braaap!

When:Saturdays, June 21 and 28, noon to 3 p.m.

Where: The Fix bike shop, 3085 Bluff St., Boulder CO

Who: Me, you and a few other like-minded souls

Why: It’s fun! And you’ll gain skills that will enhance all of your riding — “aggro” or not.
