Stumpy for big, aggressive guy?

Hi Lee

Quite a while back I asked you about a bike for my bro who is 6’5 and 220 lbs. You reccomended an Enduro. Thing is we just located a used XL 05 Stumpy FSR Expert that is like brand new. My question is: will a 220 lb rider (fit not fat) who really charges sort of overload a Fox Septune rear shock and trailbike components?

May the BRAAAP be with you.

Mike

Hey Lee,
I’m looking for a good tire for pump track rig and it has to be from the WTB famly. Is the Nano 2.1 the ticket?

Cannondale Rush for maintained trails?

Lee,
It’s been a while since you wrote your review of the Cannondale Rush. Any comments and sitting on it for a while?

I must admit, it seems perfect at the moment. (I live in Holland and my riding is a combination of short(read weekend), highly maintained trails in Holland and week /long weekend rides in Belgium/France/UK.

Regards,
Alex

Pump track dirt: Import or excavate?

Lee…I noticed from your pics that your pump track is cut a ways down into your yard. Did you do that to save money on dirt? I was thinking about digging into my yard here in Oklahoma to save some money but I am afraid of water collection problems. Does your track collect water? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for writing the ebook, it has been a great help.

Dust-proofing a bike for Iraq duty

hey Lee, just a quick one for ya.
I’m in the Army and am deploing to Iraq soon and plan on taking my wheels with me. I have a full suspension bike with a FOX TALAS fork in front and a FOX air shock in back. As you may or may not know it is very dusty over there. What is the best way that I can protect my ride and keep it running smooth? P.S. I plan on consructing myself a nice little pump track while im there. I send ya some pics.

What is this “pedaling circles?”

Hey Lee,
I was just wondering if you could help me out with the term pedalling circles? I get the general concept but would like a few exercises to help me learn this technique. Also if it means anything I ride flats and mostly DH.
