We all like motocross

Last week a few of us converged at the Berthoud Motocross Megaplex for our first MX of the year. If I use the words “motocross” and “fun” in the same sentence, it’ll be hella redundant. Hella.

Nederlands dirtjump success story

Hi Lee. Just wanted to pass on a good news story. We built a cool little pump track in our backyard a couple of years ago and have had a great time on it. A lot of the neighborhood kids stop by to take a few laps, too. My two sons and a couple of their friends dreamed about having a local dirt jump park to ride on. First moto for MTBer

Hey Lee,
I have finally decided that I want to get some sort of dirt bike but not sure what to get. I am 5’7″ and 135 lbs. and I have been riding bmx, slalom, mt cross and dh stuff for a long time (i am 37) but have never ridden a dirt bike. What I want most is a fun bike that is also reliable. I am not planning on doing big jumps or anything probably mostly more like trails and maybe some little table top jumps at most. Stuff at Metcalf and Hollister. I was thinking of a ttr125L, any ideas?
Thanks, Brian

Pump track dirt: Import or excavate?

Lee…I noticed from your pics that your pump track is cut a ways down into your yard. Did you do that to save money on dirt? I was thinking about digging into my yard here in Oklahoma to save some money but I am afraid of water collection problems. Does your track collect water? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for writing the ebook, it has been a great help.

He works 40-50 hours per week and commutes 100 miles per day, and he has a family. This man is busy — here’s how he trains to succeed in his sport.
