FOX ProPedal and suspension bracketing
Hey Lee,
I saw the ProPedal on my FOX DHX 5.0. What does this do?

All the sweet bikes and parts. Mmm … parts.

Lee,
I got a 3 pinch flats running Azonic Outlaws, Kenda Kinetics 2.35 and Maxxis 1.5mm DH tubes at 40psi this weekend at bootleg canyon on my new vp free. Never had any problems running my singletracks with standard tubes on my Giant DH. Any idea what is going on?
BTW, I just switched the tires to Maxxis mobster 42Duros 2.7s…hopefully it was the thin sidewall on the Kendas…thanks!

Lee,
What do you think is the best all around tire out there??? fast rolling, great grip etc, oh fearless leader of the tech declined!

Lee,
Ok, so, since my last post, I have decided to go with a size “large” Enduro SL. With a laid back seat post, the ride felt just right and it is going to haul balls on the downhill.
My new problem is deciding between either the Expert model (aluminum), or the Carbon Pro Model (not s-works). Because this is coming from insurance, money isn’t too big a factor. What is your opinion about the FACT 9M carbon frame, and do you feel that it is really worth the price premium? Or will the aluminum expert model be the best bang for the buck?

Hey Lee,
This sounds like a dilemma you could have a nice insight on. I own a 2004 Enduro and am giving it some sweet love and upgraded parts after almost two and a half years of abuse. I ride the bike on anything; from 50km XC loops to day-long epic rides including pretty rough downhillish descents in lift-serviced terrain in the Alps. Anything but full-on downhill and bikepark usage really. I weigh about 90 kilos, so I need my parts to be tough, but like to keep ’em as light as is functional and makes sense (carbon is for fishing rods and F1 racecars IMHO). …

Hey man – great book! I had question on Super D tires – do you run XC type tires or DH type tires? I race on my 575 and I usually run 2.35 regular tires with stans (saves a lot of weight over UST). What do you usually ride?

Hey Lee,
I also wear glasses and constantly have the problem of fogging while wearing goggles. I use anti-fog lenses in my goggles and they stay nice and clear but my glasses still fog up constantly. I’ve tried anti-fog sprays and every home remedy (rubbing a layer of bar soap on, etc.) but nothing works. Any ideas?
Thanks,
–Taylor
Hi Lee,
I’m thinking about 4x racing, i’m currently have a Identiti 666x Pro, would this bike make a good 4x racer and would it being a single speed, be a good idea to upgrade to a 8/9 speed. Would i get my ass handed to me if i stay single speed?
Many thanks
shaun
When the goat head thorns came out last fall, I needed some tire liners — but my P.3 is too nimble and tasty for Mr. Tuffies. Enter the Tyvek envelope.

Hello Lee,
I am currently in the market for a Specialized Enduro Pro and was wondering if you could help me out with sizing. I am 6″4′ and my previous bike was a rocky mountain slayer 20.5 with a top tube length of 620mm.

Lee,
I have been trying to select the right all mountain bike and think the new Enduro SL might do the trick. I was originally planning on building up an Intense 6.6, but the Enduro seems better price/perf. A few concerns though:
Did you ever give feedback on the final fork? Also with the custom 25mm hub will I be stuck with limited wheel selections (i.e. no Crossmax)?
Thanks, Huck
Hey Lee,
I think that I may have a serious problem with my bike. The thing is my seat post seams to be stuck inside the seat tube. I maniaged to pull it free but it took two of my buddies to free it. One holding down the bike and two twisting and pulling up on the saddle.
When it came out there was a lot of white powdery substance on and inside the seat post and down inside the seat tube. I suspect that it is a form of corrsion forming from the 2 dissimilar metals. My seat post is 7075 and my from is made form Kinesium Alum. What can I do about this?
Thanks alot, Chris
