Lyons Outdoor Games: mission accomplished

I am beyond tired right now, but I will say this: 1. We got the park built on time. 2. This week has been VERY rainy. 3. This morning we got everything dry (with picks, shovels, pumps, brooms, sunshine and Doug’s helicopter). 4. This afternoon’s event went off awesomely. Lots of happy people riding their bikes.

– Matt Cordova won the DJ comp. Nick Simcik won the “Spirit of the Games” award with a couple sweet backflips (after a dozen attempts).

– Jon Watt won Pump Track Worlds. Brandon Turman second. Me third.
